The tennis ace younger brother to John McEnroe and his wife, the actress Melissa Errico, are putting their sprawling loft at the Mercer House on the market for just under $8.5 million.

The couple paid just under $5 million for the co-op pad in 2014, property records show, and then spent two years gut renovating the space. The 4,000-square-foot duplex located at 250 Mercer Street in Greenwich Village – has a loft-like design featuring a great room with 12-foot ceilings, a chef’s kitchen, as well as five bedrooms and five bathrooms爱上海龙凤419桑拿 上海龙凤论坛sh1f, including a master bath with a steam shower and soaking tub.

The asking price works out to just over $2,100 per foot.

Douglas Elliman’s Tal Alexander, Oren Alexander and David Dubin have the listing. You ll be hard-pressed to find a 5- bedroom, 5-bath home that is completely turn-key with these kinds of views and light, at this price point, Tal Alexander said.

The Manhattan residential market may have cooled, but it’s a different story in Brooklyn and Queens.

Prices in Brooklyn have been steadily rising for years. But the third quarter of 2016 saw a bevy of records in almost every corner of the market in the borough, according to Douglas Elliman’s latest report. The median sales price for the third q上海龙凤论坛sh1f 上海龙凤论坛uarter in 2016 hit a record at $735,000 a rise of nearly 9 percent year-over-year. The number of sales in the quarter also jumped nearly 16 percent to 2,741. 

It’s confirmation that Brooklyn continues to be a hive of activity while Manhattan has gone from a market that’s “white hot” to merely “above average,” said Jonathan Miller , the author of the Elliman report and CEO of Miller Samuel Real Estate.

Price records have been set in previous quarters, but, according to Miller, it is unusual for records to be so widespread in a single quarter. The records were for all-time median sales across all properties types condos, co-ops, one-to-two families and luxury,” he said.

The median price of condos in the quarter was $812,008 and the median price of co-ops was $428,000. New development condo prices climbed 27 percent year-over-year to $778,452.

Last week, the number of price chops did anything but drop. In fact, they made a comeback.

Over the holiday break, there was a lull in reductions on the city’s priciest listings. But that reprieve seems to have been short-lived. A total of six properties in the over-$10 million market had their prices slashed by more than 5 percent in the period between Jan. 2 and 8, according to data provided to The Real Deal by StreetEasy.

The biggest reduction was at a full-floor condominium at 5 East 16th Street, which is now on the market for $10.8 million, a 16 percent reduction on its last asking price.

Here’s a look at the other biggest price cuts in New York City for the week:

A longtime friend of Robert Durst told a Los Angeles court that his wife was “all mixed up” when she provided evidence that put the real estate heir in Beverly Hills at the time of Susan Berman’s murder in 2000.

Stewart Altman, who went to high school with Durst and has acted as his attorney, testified Tuesday that his wife called him “hysterical” after she gave evidence in July, the New York Daily News reported. On the stand, Emily Altman initially said Durst had told her personally that he was in Beverly Hills at the time of Berman’s death. But after questioning from def上海龙凤论坛 新上海贵族宝贝论坛ense lawyers the next day, she changed her statement.

Though he s seeking a $4 million flip, not much has changed about the penthouse, which is being marketed by Corcoran Group s Vickey Barron.

Walker Tower 18A

Its $28 million price tag makes it one of the most expensive units on the market at Walker Tower. The building s Penthouse 1, which is ensnared in the 1MDB scandal and is up for grabs for $45 million, currently has the highest asking price. It sold for $50.9 million in 2014, making it the most expensive penthouse ever to trade hands in Downtown Manhattan.

Hafner s four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom apartment has seen its fair share of time on the marke爱上海同城对对碰 爱上海同城论坛t. Xceligent employee files class-action lawsuit against DMGT Field researcher claims data firm violated WARN Act

UPDATED, 7:10 p.m., Dec. 22: A former Xceligent employee filed a class-action lawsuit against the data company and its British parent, the Daily Mail and General Trust, over its abrupt closure and mass layoffs last week.

Last Thursday, workers were informed Xceligent is filing for Chapter 7 liquidation and that they were “爱上海同城对对碰 爱上海同城论坛separated from employment effective immediately.” The company gave its employees 30 minutes to collect belongings and leave the building.

The lawsuit, filed by Missouri-based former Xceligent field researcher Jean Morris on behalf of around 500 employees in Delaware federal bankruptcy court, alleges that DMGT violated the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act by not giving them at least 60 days notice that they would lose their jobs. The suit seeks up to 60 days’ pay and re爱上海同城对对碰 爱上海同城论坛tirement and health benefits.

DMGT did not shut爱上海同城论坛 爱上海同城 down Xceligent, a spokesperson for DMGT said Friday. The Xceligent board decided to file for Chapter 7. The allegation relating to WARN is therefore against Xceligent.

DMGT, which owns the tabloid Daily Mail, had bemoaned Xceligent’s “disappointing” expansion into New York City and had written the carrying value of Xceligent down to zero in November. Special Counsel Robert Mueller subpoenaed documents f爱上海 爱上海同城手机版rom the Trump Organization, in a sign that his investigation is looking into President Trump’s business interests.

The New York Times reported that it wasn’t clear how many documents Mueller subpoenaed, although some are related to Russia. The report cites two sources briefed on the subpoena.

Mueller i阿爱上海同城 阿拉爱上海同城s investigating Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. In recent months, he has looked into the role of foreign money, according to the New York Times. His team has asked witnesses about Emirati money flowing into the U.S. and about a possible deal to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.

Trump previously said any investigation of his family business would be crossing a “red line.”

Consolidated Edison is finally putting its long-coveted development sites on the market in Williamsburg.

Cushman Wakefield has the listing. A development of 1.5 million square feet could be built on the site, said broker Stephen Palmese.

Malaysia is banning foreign buyers from purchasing homes in a new $100 billion development, the latest in a string of real estate clampdowns across the globe.

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad on Monday said foreigners would be blocked from buying homes at Forest City a huge residential complex being built by Chinese developer Country Garden Holdings Co. on a group of artificial islands in the city of Johor, Bloomberg News reported.

Mahathir also said foreigners would not be granted visas to live there.

The project has targeted buyers from mainland China, and Mahathir who rose to power by tapping into nationalist rhetoric has 上海夜网论坛 上海夜网called foreign investments that don t benefit Malaysians “a new version of colonialism.”

Across the gl阿拉爱上海同城 爱上海龙凤419桑拿obe, countries are putting protectionist measures in place, as low interest rates have made home buying unattainable for many.
